The making of healing creams started with a recipe passed on to us from Metropolitan Philaret's, former First Hierarch of the Russian Church Outside Russia, spiritual daughter. While living in Harbin, China, and serving at the Iveron Church, due to the truthfulness of his sermon, he was attacked by communists who set fire to his cell. The future Metropolitan miraculously survived but with severe burns.  His life was saved by the Chinese, who anointed him with anti-burn cream, according to an old traditional medicine recipe.

From this experience, came the basis of the healing salve we make today. We have added calendula oil to the original recipe due to its antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antifungal, and wound healing properties.  As we progressed in selecting high-quality natural ingredients, Mother Elisabeth certified in the creating of two completely organic facial creams.

Having just received a big order for over 96 healing creams, facial products, and lip balms, our lives before Nativity are quite busy as we prayfully mix, melt, cool, pour, and label each.
