Visit from the Hawaiian Iveron icon of the Mother of God and Her caretaker Father Nectarios
We were blessed with a visit from the Hawaiian Iveron icon of the Mother of God and Her caretaker Father Nectarios earlier this November for the annual days of commemoration of Brother Jose's martyrdom. It was a whirlwind weekend with 100's of people attending. Many of them stopped by our monastery throughout the weekend but especially in the evening of the last day when the Iveron Icon made it its last stop before continuing Her journey. Below are a few photos taken in this whirwind of an evening. Not all the sisters were able to be present for the photos, as they were taking care of the pilgrims.
